Memorial University Extension Services has on file a video of Landon Ladd, who was IWA president at the time of the loggers strike of 1959. He returned to Newfoundland in 1983 by invitation form Memorial University and spoke. The speech that he gave is called Only the Strong are Free and is excellent viewing for anyone interested in this powerful and charismatic speaker. There are also black and white photos of the strike and a portion of Premier Smallwood's infamous radio broadcast on February 12th, 1959.Click on this link to view: Memorial University DAI: Ladd, H.
